CARROLL OUT TILL NOVEMBER

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has said that it is highly unlikely that the striker Andy Carroll will be back to first-team action before mid-October. The striker made his debut for the team after completing his loan move from Liverpool in the match against Fulham.

The 3-0 win also saw Andy Carroll injured and had to be taken off. This was a very big disappointment for the manager Sam Allardyce, who had waited patiently for the arrival of the striker. Eventually, he was brought to Upton Park on a season-long loan deal on the final day of the transfer window.

Now, he will miss the crucial matches for the England national team in the World Cup qualifying campaign, while he is also set to miss many matches for West Ham United. The 23-year-old striker has been out of favour at Liverpool under Kenny Dalglish. He was expected to get back to first-team action after the end of the international break, but the West Ham United manager has confirmed that he will not be rushing back striker in the hope of getting the club out of the relegation zone. It is expected that Sam Allardyce will make a permanent move for the striker at the end of his loan deal.

“The next window of international break comes on October 6, so if he’s fit before then we’ll have done a magnificent job, but I probably don’t think so. I think it will be after that. If the lads do the job they’ve started to do then it won’t be too desperate to rush him straight back. He’s not had a lot of pre-season because of the European Championships and he didn’t have a lot of football at Liverpool. We’ve got to be very careful that we don’t rush it too much and the hamstring might reoccur,” said Allardyce.
