CRYSTAL PALACE EYE ANDY CARROLL

English Premier League’s Crystal Palace are in dire need of a new striker and West Ham’s Andy Carroll has been ear-marked as a potential important signing, even though the player has just returned from a hamstring injury.

West Ham forward Andy Carroll should consider making a move to London rivals Crystal Palace to try to bring his faltering career right back on track.

The player’s West Ham career has been plagued by numerous injuries, which has seen him spend majority of the season on the sidelines.

The 29 year old has returned from his latest setback following a long layoff last month and he is yet to make a single Premier League appearance for the Hammers this season.

West Ham are currently on a high following a four game winning streak and Carroll will find it really hard to break his way into what has now become a very strong West Ham squad.

For the striker to get back to his best form, he will need to be playing regular football in the English top flight and it’s looking increasingly unlikely he will be able to do this at the club.

The Telegraph recently reported that Crystal Palace will be looking to add more firepower to their attack in January and will be looking to lure Andy Carroll to the club to improve their attack.

Aston Villa’s Tammy Abraham who is on loan from Chelsea is also a potential target. The English forward has been scoring goals for fun in the Championship this season but he did struggle during his loan spell at relegated Swansea City last season.

Should Crystal Palace move for West Ham striker Andy Carroll in January, barring his poor injury record in the Premier League, the England international should be a very good signing for the London club.
