Andy carrol first goal fir liverpool

Carroll Video Rating: four / five

    I’m a Man City and I honestly think Carroll’s a good player. Personally I think that the huge price tag put on him took him right out of his comfort zone, and as a result feels as if hes constantly got too much expectation to be meeting. Same principle goes for Edin Dzeko, however he really is just a total donkey.

    @RDprodx Suarez may not be able to get assists or score every match, but he is one of the best players around, his skill is brilliant, he never gives up, his assist stats is good, he is a winger so is not meant to score every game. So get your facts right you disabled retard! :L

  • By TheJosho999, February 8, 2012 @ 3:24 am

    Carroll has been playing well in the past few matches, 2 assists and a goal in the last 3 matches. He will improve, so all you haters are not proper Liverpool fans, so just fuck off and back him, he will play well soon.

    @RDprodx ha ur disabled

  • By CTTMOGK, February 8, 2012 @ 5:20 am

    @RDprodx Then you don’t know what you’re looking at, 20m isn’t a huge price tag for a striker and his goal total was a product of playing in the Eredivisie, Kuyt used to score for fun when he was playing for Feyenoord, it’s a much, much weaker league and it’s largely expected for a players scoring total/rate to drop off when entering a real league. Not to mention I’ll again say he wasn’t bought to score goals, something you really seem to have trouble grasping, striker does not equal goals.

  • By RDprodx, February 8, 2012 @ 6:02 am

    @CTTMOGK

    urrghh. He doesn’t score because he doesn’t finish his chances well enough, subpar player. I didn’t say I expect him to score 40 a season or anything but I do expect a £20mil striker with a goal scoring record like his to finish his chances more. He could get better service but from the chances he creates on his own and by others

  • By ortonsuarez, February 8, 2012 @ 6:15 am

    That’s about the only he’s scored

  • By CTTMOGK, February 8, 2012 @ 6:15 am

    @RDprodx He doesn’t score because he gets no service, Downing has been shit, Adam has been subpar, Maxi doesn’t play and he’s inconsistent and streaky at best, Gerrard has been injured for the majority of his Anfield stay and even with him back now he’ll be playing more of a holding role so what do you want him to do? Track back, tackle, dribble the length of the pitch and score? Watch a fucking game, the fact that your argument is “he doesn’t have enough assists or goals” shows your ignorance

  • By CTTMOGK, February 8, 2012 @ 6:40 am

    @RDprodx No, you’re ridiculous and it shows you’ve only watched football for 4 years. When Suarez plays we create a plethora of chances, he terrorizes the back line and makes it easier for everyone else to find space because he’s the first person being accounted for. Look at how many shots we have when he plays vs when he sits, it’s not a coincidence, he doesn’t rack up assists because he doesn’t play next to a finisher. (continued)

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

  • By RDprodx, February 8, 2012 @ 7:24 am

    @CTTMOGK

    No, that’s ridiculous. He is technically brilliant but on a somewhat inconsistent basis, he has shone with performances like the 3-1 against United but too many times he has drifted out of games. All the statements you say are true but they come at a cost, he has a terrible attitude(hence the 8 game ban that has cost us)he is a striker but is inconsistent(he has a terrible scoring record at Liverpool, should be better) and he doesn’t create very many goals. Look at his assist stats..

  • By CTTMOGK, February 8, 2012 @ 8:05 am

    @RDprodx Suarez wasn’t in any way, shape or form a “dodgy buy” and that’s a laughably ignorant statement. What do you base that off? He’s technically brilliant, a creative genius and we’re miles better in the offensive third with him on the pitch so what do you want from him? He wasn’t bought to score goals he was bought to create for Torres who left, and then Carroll who hasn’t produced. He’s done everything that’s been asked and expected and has exceeded his price tag, you’re a clown.

  • By CTTMOGK, February 8, 2012 @ 8:08 am

    @RDprodx Suarez wasn’t a “dodgy buy” and that’s a laughably ignorant statement. What exactly are you basing that off?

  • By LDblue2506, February 8, 2012 @ 9:07 am

    @RDprodx what the fuck are you talking about. you are obviously not a true red. u call a Liverpool legend a cunt? hah. shows how much u truly “love” the club. =.=

  • By Theshow2100, February 8, 2012 @ 10:03 am

    I can understand people calling Carroll shit, and saying that hendo downing and adam havent lived up to expectations. But Suarez has been absolutely fantastic, we’ve been completely dependent on him for creating goalscoring opportunities, the man is a living legend

  • By ak47popper, February 8, 2012 @ 10:03 am

    @RDprodx who the fuck do you think you are? where are you from shithead?

  • By 10YNWA10, February 8, 2012 @ 10:50 am

    @ak47popper either way would be fine with me. i just normally like it when there are 2 attacking mids rather than holding mids, and i think lucas has the ability to anchor the midfield. maybe im giving adam too much credit, but i want to see him playing in an attacking midfield role

  • By ak47popper, February 8, 2012 @ 11:01 am

    @10YNWA10 i prefer 4231 with lucas and spearing in front of the back 4, but whatever

  • By 10YNWA10, February 8, 2012 @ 11:09 am

    @ak47popper ehh i dont see it as adam being found out. he was able to play his preferrered position while lucas was there, now he’s often being forced to play more defense (which he’s never been fantastic at). downing’s showed some pace and skill, and we know he has the ability to cross better because he’s done it before, so im willing to give him time. maybe a 4-3-3 is the answer next year? adam and gerrard in front of lucas?

  • By MW3montageKing69, February 8, 2012 @ 11:20 am

    only goal*

  • By ak47popper, February 8, 2012 @ 12:01 pm

    @10YNWA10 meh. henderson has been the better out of adam and downing. adam looked alright when lucas was there because he was protected, but now he is being found out. to be fair, united paid the same for young, and at the time downing was performing better than young, so you can see why 20m was paid.

  • By 10YNWA10, February 8, 2012 @ 12:08 pm

    @22may95 the problem is that the crossing has been shit. if we had wingers who could cross the ball (maybe play johnson on right wing for starters?) his form would improve dramatically. playing with gerrard will definitely help him though.

    not saying he was worth 35 mill, i know we hugely overpaid for him, but he could be a solid contributer if used the right way (not launching longballs up to him repeatedly with no one even running off him like we’ve recently been doing)

  • By 10YNWA10, February 8, 2012 @ 12:58 pm

    @RDprodx suarez has been fantastic. adam has been pretty good as well. henderson hasn’t quite lived up to expectations yet but is very young, and ill give you that we overpaid for downing.

    as for carroll, his form depends so much on the quality of crosses his teammates put in, and lets be honest, our crossing is complete shit. if this changes, expect is form to pick up dramatically.
